Day 1. From Lorca to Irache Monastery

9h Reception with the group in the Parish of San Salvador de Lorca, see location
08: 30h People who leave with transport, pick up at the accommodation.

Calle Mayor de Lorca guides us from end to end and on the outskirts our itinerary coincides a stretch with that of a local path that leads to the Maurien cross. The urban path of the town of ViIlatuerta, will lead us to the historic center of Estella through Rúa de Curtidores and where we will appreciate some of its many monuments of civil and religious architecture such as: San Pedro de la Rúa Church, Palace of the Kings of Navarra, San Miguel's Church. We will leave by a paved road and through the town of Ayegui, reaching the Fuente del Vino and the Monastery of Irache, close to the vineyards. Transfer to the drivers of each car to Lorca, start of the walk, where the cars are parked.

IMPORTANT NOTES

- Minimum group 4 people with transport 6 people without transport. Group maximum 16 people (always depending on the protocols in place at the time of departure).

- For the transport option, the minimum group is 2 paying people, once the minimum group has been confirmed in own transport.

- Visits may undergo modifications, both in content and form, due to changes in the entities to be visited, due to weather issues, for reasons beyond our control, or programming adjustments.

- The guide will enforce the health protocols at all times. In case of non-compliance by any participant, by decision of the guide, he will leave the group and will not have the right to any refund.

- Our excursions and guided visits are not canceled due to adverse weather conditions. Navarra can offer us a very different climate from one valley to another, even on the same day.

- Do not walk excessively, but it is advisable to bring comfortable closed shoes.

 

NECESSARY AND ADVISABLE MATERIAL

- Masks: Either standard (4h) or FFP2 or KN95 (8h). It is recommended to bring at least one pair of replacement masks.

- Hydroalcoholic gel.

- Mountain or Hiking clothing and footwear.

- Sunglasses.

- Sunscreen.

- Cap with visor or hat to protect us from the sun.

- Oilskin.

- Walking poles

- Regarding food, it is advisable to bring something to eat, nuts, fruit and water. Also a sandwich for lunch.
