In this experience we will get to know the UNPREDICTABLE BASOA (Forest) Project. A protected natural space in the middle of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, where you will contribute to the creation of a Forest. We will visit and eat at the Txakoli Berroja Winery located on a high point from where you can see almost all of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve. To end the day, visit the Museum of Peace in Gernika. A thematic museum dedicated to the culture of peace and human rights.
09: 30h Pick up at the accommodations. In the morning we will go to Muskica to participate in the "Unpredictable Basoa" Project. We will contribute to minimizing the negative effects that increased tourism has on our natural environment, transforming this problem into an opportunity to become aware of the environmental impact. Our contribution will be the planting of trees, which we will be able to visit over the years.
We will recharge our batteries by visiting a Txakoli winery where we will eat in a wonderful environment surrounded by vineyards. In the afternoon and in this bucolic atmosphere, nothing better than visiting the Gernika Peace Museum, which offers a reading of the history of Gernika Lumo and the Civil War. We will live the episode of the bombing and the exemplary lesson in peace that the survivors of that tragic event give us by reconciling with their aggressors.
